Juvenile Chinook Salmon Monitoring

I currently work on the Lower American River monitoring juvenile Chinook salmon and steelhead migration using rotary screw traps. The data we collect—including fish counts, measurements, and environmental parameters—helps estimate salmon passage, track migration timing, and inform reservoir operations that affect critical habitat in California's Central Valley.
